I was 8 years old when my father passed away.
I grew up moving between relatives, enduring hardship, abuse and uncertainty. I lived in orphanages, watched schools collapse around me, nearly lost my chance at education — and yet, through every storm, Allah never left my side.
This voice tells my story.
It is about a boy who lost his father too early, who carried burdens no child should carry, who slept on floors, watered farms before sunrise, crossed rivers at night as a child just to survive. A boy who was forgotten by those who should have remembered him — but was never forgotten by Allah.
Today, that boy works with orphans — guiding them, caring for them, using his own wounds to light their way.
"Through the Storm" is not just my story. It is the story of every soul that has ever suffered in silence and held on to faith when there was nothing else left to hold.
If you have ever felt alone, unheard, or forgotten — this nasheed is for you.
